Who Are We?

Tace
TCP Founder & Senior Instructor
Tace has been a private and group reformer and mat pilates, TRX and Barre instructor for 10+ years. She studied through Elixir School of Pilates and has done subsequent studies/qualifications in mat pilates, injuries, pregnancy training, strength training. With a passion for movement and challenging people to feel and get stronger, Tace loves and thrives on creating personalised programs completely tailored for each unique individual - their goals and their needs.
After working in some of the most renowned studios in Melbourne, Tace opened her own private studio space in 2020 and now offers premium private 1:1 and 2:1 semi private classes within her tranquil Elwood studio that is The Core Project.

Tace has applied her years of experience to create her own unique training system that focuses on and specialises in helping clients activate and engage their core. The Core Project Method philosophy is simple; Strong Core = Strong Body.

Her other passion and fortes include applying a combination of strength training principles to all sessions in addition to regular pilates programming- these tools prevent clients from plateauing and ensure clients continue to get stronger regardless of what level they are at. She also thrives on delivering advanced pilates sessions and challenging stronger clients- it never gets “ easy” just empowering!!

Tace passionately shares the fundamentals of The Core Project Method with all her clients and all trainers working at The Core Project must first undergo training with Tace to ensure consistent training practises between all team members.

Ellen (Elle)
TCP Senior Trainer
Ellen (also known as Elle) is a classically trained dancer and is excited to be joining The Core Project team. She has been teaching mat and reformer Pilates for seven years and absolutely loves her job, especially the way, through Pilates she can help her clients builds strength, endurance, and self-belief over time.
Ellen’s sessions are based around a combination of strength and endurance, with “spicy layers” added into sequences while keeping the pace, balance, and control. Her favourite Pilates phrase is “simple but strong,” and she genuinely loves seeing people push forward, surprise themselves, and grow in confidence.
Ellen brings a grounded, upbeat energy to the room and supports clients to work hard in a way that feels clear, purposeful, and empowering, with a little sparkle along the way.

George
TCP Studio Mascot
George is the unofficial heart of The Core Project studio and a very serious part of the team. He’s loving, affectionate, and always ready to offer a cuddle, a kiss, or a little extra joy to clients as they arrive.
George has a big personality and an even bigger appetite, with a particular talent for “finding” things he probably shouldn’t be eating, including socks and cushion covers. He adores being around people, loves the studio environment, and has become a much-loved part of the TCP experience.
His best mate is Loki (a golden retriever belonging to a client and friend), and there may even be a sibling on the horizon next year… watch this space.
